Hump and Horns Cattle Heritage

Every Hump has its Curve, Every Horn carries its Pride

Wear Your Indigenous Shield

Hump & Horns is a Karnataka-rooted apparel brand inspired by India's heritage cattle, culture, craft, and the stories that shaped them.

The Idea

In India cattle were never just animals. Native Breeds have lived alongside people for centuries , shaping livelihoods, rituals and folklore.

But today many of these breeds are disappearing quietly.

Hump And Horns was born to change that narrative.

Culture to Clothing

From Culture to Clothing

From Mahishasura at Chamundi Betta to Yakshagana's powerful storytelling traditions to the distinct forms of Malnad Gidda, Hallikar and Gir –

Each piece of design carries a story, translated into minimal wearable form.

Founder's Roots

Hump And Horns is deeply personal.

My father, Srinivas Shivrao Pai, has performed Yakshagana since 1971. But before the stage, he was a boy grazing cattle along the banks of the Shambhavi river a memory he passed on to me, and one I never let go of.

He is Hump And Horns' Founder in spirit, the life he lived shaped everything this brand stands for. Rooted in the hills of Dakshina Kannada and along the banks of the river Shambhavi, shaped by cattle, culture and story, this brand carries a lived legacy.
